According to the article’s crime map data, Houston crime rate by neighborhood varies a lot. Sunnyside, MacGregor, South Union, Kashmere Gardens, and Sharpstown carry some of the lowest safety grades. West University, Bellaire, and the Memorial Villages are consistently among the safest. These grades are relative scores based on per-capita crime, so a lower grade does not mean every street is unsafe. Whatever your neighborhood, security camera installation in Houston adds a layer of protection.
