So, if I received a DM and it was suddenly purple, was that the other person changing their color or was it automatic by Instagram? I asked the team at boostbysocial and received a variety of responses. I know purple instagram dm is related to the integration with Messenger but I don't know who decides what color it is, the sender, receiver or the platform itself. Please tell me this in correct terms.
