Anyone else's Dodge Challenger AC struggling in this summer heat? (12 อ่าน)

Look, I know we're in the UAE and summer is basically an oven, but my 2020 Challenger's AC has been really disappointing lately – it blows cool air but it never actually gets cold no matter how long I drive, and I'm literally sweating through my shirt on my morning commute which is just not a vibe at all. I've checked the refrigerant level and it seems fine, the compressor kicks on, and the fans are working, so I'm kind of stumped about what the actual problem could be. I've read that these cars can have issues with the blend door actuators or sometimes the condenser gets clogged with dust and debris, but honestly I'm not confident enough to start tearing the dash apart myself. I don't really want to go to the dealer because their service rates are wild and I've heard they'll try to upsell you on a bunch of stuff you don't actually need, so I'm hoping to find an independent shop that actually works on these American muscle cars regularly. I was poking around online and came across alzaabiautocare.com/brands/dodge which seems like they might know their way around these cars, but I wanted to see if anyone here has dealt with a similar AC issue and can point me in the right direction before I start throwing money at guesses. Is this just a common thing with Challengers in extreme heat or is there something specific I should be asking them to check first?
